Statewide Washington contractor scope
The official L&I source contains statewide construction, electrical, plumbing, and elevator contractor records. Construction records include general and specialty classifications; the dataset is not limited to contractors whose mailing address is in Washington.
StateLicense preserves L&I's raw status and type codes while mapping common identity, status, specialty, date, contact, authority, and jurisdiction fields into the normalized API contract.
Washington L&I source and freshness
Washington records refresh daily at 6:00 PM Pacific and retain source and record timestamps. Use those timestamps to evaluate freshness and confirm consequential decisions through the official L&I verification tool.
- Construction registrations include general and specialty classifications.
- Electrical, plumbing, and elevator records remain distinguishable by license type.
- Status mappings can include active, expired, suspended, inactive, and revoked records.
