Roster scope and license numbers
StateLicense retains the board's C, R, L, and U credential families, work descriptions, and project limits. Search by the first six digits of the exported number; padded six-digit and full ten-digit variants are accepted. Shared numbers can return several distinct board records.
- Review every returned credential type and holder.
- Treat work scope and bid limits as source statements.
- Confirm current status through the official CLB lookup.
Manual freshness and unreported status
The board publishes a nightly roster, but StateLicense imports supplied snapshots manually. There is no automatic Arkansas refresh schedule. The source export date is exposed as source_updated_at; last_updated identifies the import time.
Every Arkansas result has status=unknown. The API's valid flag is true only for active matches, so valid=false on an Arkansas match does not mean the board reported an invalid license.
Information returned by the lookup
| Information | Availability |
|---|---|
| License number and source identity | When supplied by the authority |
| Business identity and location | When supplied by the authority |
| Commercial or residential type | When supplied by the authority |
| Work scope and project limits | When supplied by the authority |
| Expiration and snapshot freshness | When supplied by the authority |
Freshness: Manual snapshot imports; inspect source_updated_at and last_updated. Field availability depends on the source record; unavailable values are not inferred.
