Statewide Washington contractor scope
The official L&I source contains statewide construction, electrical, plumbing, and elevator contractor records. Construction records include general and specialty classifications; the dataset is not limited to contractors whose mailing address is in Washington.
StateLicense preserves L&I's raw status and type codes while mapping common identity, status, specialty, date, contact, authority, and jurisdiction fields into the normalized API contract.
Production refresh and verification
Washington records are loaded through a guarded production refresh and reconciled against the official source. Representative active and adverse records were verified through the production API during rollout.
- Reconcile the official, downloaded, parsed, and database record counts.
- Confirm construction, electrical, plumbing, and elevator license types.
- Verify active, expired, suspended, inactive, and revoked mappings.
